Our Clinic offers low-fee and pro bono psychoanalytic therapy to those who cannot afford private treatment. This work is urgent: South Africa is a traumatised society, scarred by violence, abuse and the enduring legacy of apartheid. For too many the possibility of healing has been out of reach.
We believe that every South African deserves access to quality mental health care. This is a right, not a privilege. psychoanalysis provides a unique opportunity to explore not only the mind we know, but also the hidden, unconscious parts of ourselves that shape how we live and interact. Talking to someone skilled in listening can transform despair into possibility and pain into meaning.
